The 2nd is from the sweet Ana from Nanouke!
"You know you're addicted to Etsy when you call your cell phone company at 3 a.m. because you're on vacations without internet and need help to browse it on your phone (to check your etsy store of course)."
If I can get enough of you to bust out your inner Etsy addict each week, I'd love to do a running tally, ay?????

you know your addicted to etsy when... have more than one window open for etsy - one for your shop, one for the forums, and one just to browse around on etsy at the same time.
You know you're addicted to Etsy when you are willing to stalk both of the treasuries until 2 am so that you can use the two poster sketches waiting on your computer, but only so that you can create two more sketches and you figure out when you can snag another couple of treasuries. Vicious cycle of crafty crack.
You know you're addicted to Etsy, when you click on a bunch of things/favorites until you can't remember where the chain of clicking started that led you to the gorgeous item in front of you!!! Ok, now do they have that onsie for cats???...lol

you know your addicted to etsy when... In the middle of reading book to my child I am saying "mommy must catch treasury, please wait"
You know you are addicted to Etsy when ..... as your husband leaves for work in the morning he turns to you and says "I dare you to look at another site today" ...... and then ...... you pick your five year old up from kindergarten and the first thing she says to you is "were you on the front page today?" ..............
This is cute (and oh so true), here's my two cents:
You know you're addicted to Etsy when you log on to see what's new (in shop, treasuries, etc.), and then go make coffee...

YOU KNOW YOU'RE ADDICTED TO ETSY WHEN....
you are about to go on a date with your AWESOME husband but just before you leave you realize you are going to miss the treasury opening. you then think of ways to delay your date, realize you can't, almost start crying and then text your fellow etsy addict and ask her to snag one for you while you're gone.
you then proceed to dinner and the topic of discussion over your meal is "names for your treasury" because you still have 30 minutes 'til it opens and your friend is at home with her phone nearby just waiting for you to text her the title. long story? oh but it's true and NOT a random occurance.

here's a few more, a bit shorter...
YOU KNOW YOU'RE ADDICTED TO ETSY WHEN....
1. you plan your showers around the treasury opening
2.you plan your showers around the 30 minute mark because that is when the front page "generally" changes
3. when you are on the front page and you have craft cult open the entire time so you can keep refreshing to see how many new shop/item hearts and views you've gotten over the past 3 minutes.
4. you sleep with your laptop open and next to your bed on a side table so at night when you get up to go to the restroom or just ROLL OVER you can check the front page as well as your inbox to see if any transactions or urgent convo's have been sent
5. you are at your own birthday party and every 20 minutes you creep into the office to check your convo's, the FP etc.
is this enough for right now? i have more but i think i've past the point of sounding completey psychotic- oh one more.....
6. you forego shaving your kegs in the shower because of etsy related thing- treasury, fp, convo, custom order etc.
etsy is one addictive thing. i wouldn't give it up if you paid me!
when you modify your e-browser to start with "your etsy", "heartomatic", "zeutsones@gmail" everytime ..(well I hope this is a good translation of what I mean)
everyday I see more and more beautiful things in etsy...I am so afraid I will spend more than I get..and it feels good :))
