I'm desperately hoping that the old adage "In like a lion, out like a lamb" holds true this year. As much as I wanted a white and wild winter, I'm ready for the warm April rains and lush green to spring forth from its slumber.
I've read a bit about the origin of the proverb and as I understand it, it has to do with astrology and the placement of the constellations of Leo (Lion) and Aries (Ram) at the beginning and end of the month. Since I'm a fiery Aries myself, maybe I find all of this WAY more fascinating than you :) So I hope I've found some interesting enough goodies to keep you all happy campers!
