By now, you should all know the extent of my sewing skills. But that doesn't mean I'm not totally fascinated with it! I read this awesome "28 before 29" post over at Shimmy Shake awhile back. I love the variety of things that she wanted to accomplish before this momentous time in her life and was especially drawn to her #5, as I'd never heard of it before!

Brazilian Embroidery! Have you heard of it?? Worked on a piece yourself? I'd love to hear your first hand knowledge of this fancy shmancy raised sticking :) I had a heck of a time finding clear examples but I thought I'd share with you those that I did find! I imagine with the right design and creativity, it could be wicked cool!

I just read her "28 Before 29" post. I need to bookmark it! I turned 28 in August. I have never heard of Brazilian Embroidery either. The examples look lovely, though!
