We got back a little late last night for me to get our pictures all up and loaded :) But here they are!
This is the first year we finally made it at the right time to get into the butterfly exhibit. It was my absolute favorite thing. Just the most peaceful creatures. They also had some friends in fish form.
We didn't make it over to the World of Birds to see the bee-eaters get their munch on but did catch the Pinkies through the lookie loo.
Then there was the pleasant company of the locals:
And we finished off the day with a nice sky ride to soak it all in :)

Wowza! The fish and butterfly pictures are fabulous!! At first glance they looked to beautiful to be real.
The most perfect picture of the koi! I can't get over how vibrant and clear they are. Often the water is too murky. And the butterflies are gorgeous. I gotta get me to that place one of these days. My son would love it.
The photo of the fish is the most amazing photo. Such beautiful clarity. I have to touch my screen to make sure I can't feel the scales :)
Those Koi are amazing. They look so fake at first glance they look as though they are flying. I can't remember the last time I went to the Bronx Zoo. I wanna go real soon.
